The war in Iraq has killed over 100,000 Iraqis and shattered the lives and communities of millions more. Each day that the occupation continues causes further misery for the people of Iraq and increases the prospect of a sectarian civil war.
The Iraq war has also taken the lives of almost 3,000 US troops, not to mention the thousands more who return home with debilitating physical injuries and mental damage.
Far too many have died and had their lives destroyed for imperialist gain and oil profits. It’s time to put an end to this war!
The October 28th protest was initiated locally by the Iraq Peace Action Coalition.
