On October 11, 2002 Congress approved the “Iraq War Resolution” giving the Bush administration authorization to invade Iraq. Six years later, after the deaths of up to a million Iraqis and over 4,000 U.S.troops, we see no end in sight! In July another $162 billion was approved in a bipartisan vote by Congress to fund the bloodshed in Iraq and Afghanistan through 2009.
